Jenny is an actuary and became the Chair of the Association of Consulting Actuaries in June 2018. In that capacity, has been championing a “simplification” agenda, specifically in relation to benefit design and pension taxation. She chaired the ACA’s Professional Affairs Committee until end 2017.
Jenny joined Mercer’s Edinburgh office in 1991 as an actuarial student and spent the following years working with a broad range of clients and their pension arrangements as both a Scheme Actuary and corporate actuary. She was appointed as Mercer UK’s Chief Actuarial Officer in 2017 and was a member of the UK DB Wealth leadership team until the end of 2018.
She is also a Board member of the Cost Transparency Initiative.
Jenny graduated from Oxford University in 1991 with an MA in Mathematics. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) in 1994.
Liz joined PIMFA (then known as the Wealth Management Association) as Chief Executive in 2014.
She has 30 years financial services experience, 19 of which as a Chief Executive. She successfully transformed and advised several businesses through redefining strategy, re-branding, change management and inspirational leadership, creating profitable businesses.
She has substantive experience of people and corporate culture risk, regulatory knowhow across the industry – banking, insurance and wealth management and providing good practice guidelines for the industry to adopt.
She is an accredited coach and industry leader encouraging collaborative participation of diverse groups of industry experts to address sector challenges and to leverage industry resources for collective benefit.
Liz holds a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck.
Alexandra has built a long and successful career in the financial sector, initially as an international fixed income fund manager for a number of premier international banks and financial institutions before moving onto the development of global institutional fund management services. Forming Noble & Associates a decade ago, she has since built a successful professional advisory practice providing advisory and business development services to pension funds, asset managers and investment consultants. She is now in growing demand by many of her major clients who want her to share her wisdom, market experience and human development skills by mentoring their next generation of high-flying and talented potential leaders and she is convinced this will increasingly become a success differentiator within the financial sector.
Alexandra lives in the City with her husband and is Chair of Future-Fit Ltd, and a Trustee of the children’s’ charity ‘Tree of Hope’ as well as The Foundation of Nursing Studies and The OPLAN Foundation.
Justin is a fund manager within the Multi-Asset Funds team, leading on the management of the team's retail and risk-profiled multi-asset funds. Prior to joining LGIM in August 2013, Justin was a fund manager with Aviva Investors' multi-asset team combining both strategic and dynamic asset allocation with manager selection in the construction of multi-asset portfolios. He was lead fund manager on a range of risk-targeting multi-asset funds and co-lead fund manager on a number of unit-linked Life and Pension funds, as well as manager of manager offerings. Justin previously worked as a fund research analyst at Merrill Lynch and an investment consultant for Aon Consulting. Justin is a CFA Charterholder and holds a degree in economics from the University of Warwick and the Investment Management Certificate.
Pat is Managing Director of the UK branch of KAS BANK, leading a highly experienced team delivering securities services and reporting solutions to the institutional market that are grounded in governance, innovation and building long term client partnerships. And with a focus on innovation and driving change, Pat was instrumental in bringing KAS BANK's cost transparency solution for pension funds to the UK market in 2017, to help trustee boards elevate governance and member outcomes.
Pat joined KAS BANK in 2015, bringing extensive experience in the UK Securities Services and Pensions industries. Pat brings over 30 years of experience at HSBC Securities Services, where she was Head of Relationship Management & Sales, Pensions, Europe and a Member Nominated Director of the HSBC UK Pension Trust, working across DB and DC schemes. She is currently a Trustee for the KAS BANK UK Pension Scheme, and is working hard to ensure the best possible retirement income for its members. Pat also brings 22 years' experience of working with UK pensions schemes.
Pat has two passions in her life - "pensions" and "dressage". Outside of work, Pat is a semi-professional dressage rider, building a unique sporting partnership built on commitment, performance and trust with her 2 horses.
